World Book Week in P1

6th Mar 2020

We had a busy and exciting week in P1 for World Book Day/Week 📚🌍. In Circle Time we talked about our favourite books and characters. Then we drew pictures of our favourite book covers or characters and wrote about why we like them. Daibhin loves the Cat in the Hat because he likes to have a party 🎉 and Naya likes Jack Frost because he is magical ❄️.

We shared lots of stories throughout the week. We brought in books from home to share with the class. We were also very lucky to have the P6 and P7 boys and girls read stories to us.

On Friday we had lots of fun dressing up as our favourite characters. 🐯☕️🍰 Aoife dressed up as the Tiger who came to Tea with her very own crocheted tea set! And we had a visit from Ms Trunchbull when she heard that Matilda (Eimear) was in our class! We got to show off our costumes in a parade in front of the rest of the school!
