Welcome Back P1

14th Jan 2024

P1 have had a great first week and a half back after Christmas. The boys and girls had lots of fun bringing in their Santa toys for show and tell. They also had a go buying their toys in the toy shop using the 1p coins as well as the 2p, 5p and 10p coins. We then had a go buying tasty treats in the cafe using the different coins. In Maths we’ve also been looking at the number 7 and colouring beautiful rainbows. 🎁🍰🌈

As it was so cold and icy this week, ❄️🥶 a Penguin came to visit us and gave us the lovely story Penguin by Polly Dunbar. We’ve had lots of fun acting out parts of the story using the props and we painted our own penguins. Penguin doesn’t say very much in the story so we thought about what Penguin might say if he did talk and drew fantastic speech bubbles. Great work boys and girls! ❄️🐧🦁
