Dear parents,
I hope everyone was able to stay safe on the roads today. I wanted to send you a message in relation to arrangements for tomorrow. The forecast is similar to this morning and a yellow warning remains in place with icy roads and footpaths expected. Also due to industrial action the gritters will not operate.
I will assess the situation as early as possible in the morning and send an update. A number of health and safety factors will be taken into consideration as to whether it is possible to open the school.
Keep a look out for a message in the morning. Wishing you safe travels if you have to go out tonight.
