Waterside Library IT Project: In partnership with the Big Summer Read 2019

13th Jun 2019

Waterside Library in conjunction with the Waterside neighbourhood partnership are running an IT project this summer to coincide with our annual Big Summer Read event. There are a number of places available initially for P6 pupils from our local primary schools.

As there is only 8-10 places, we would like two P6 pupils from each school.

Parents can contact the library directly to book a place.

3-4 day Workshop

July 20, July 27, August 4, August 17

The young participants will share ideas and develop a story to animate.

They will work on a storyboard and script for the film, film characters and props to animate.

Together they will animate a short film about 1 minute long, complete with title and credits, soundtrack, sound effects and voice-overs.

They will have the opportunity to experience post-production methods and to screen their own movie at the end of the programme.
