SUSTRANS AWARDS FOR OUR PRIMARY 6 PUPILS-12th December 2017

13th Dec 2017

We welcomed Ronan from SUSTRANS yesterday. SUSTRANS means 'Sustainable Transport' so we are trying to walk, scoot or cycle to school as much as we can. I know some children and parents are now doing 'park and stride' to school which is  brilliant. Ronan talked to us about the Active School Programme and presented awards to the P6 pupils who have worked hard to achieve Level 2 in Cycling Proficiency. This is a huge achievement so well done boys and girls. The school was also presented with HI-VIZ VESTS AND REFLECTORS for every child in the school. This is to keep us all safe in the dark winter evenings. The children have been asked to wear these vests to and from school everyday. Ronan will be back again in Term 2 to work with other children and classes. Thank you Ronan.
