The winter season offers a sensory experience like no other ❄️ As well as being a naturally calming environment, the children gain so much from being outside this time of year. Today we had a great time crunching through ice, feeling the cold air on our faces, and even playing snowball fights 😁. Such experiences enhance sensory investigation, and provide rich experiences for fine motor skills as well as bodily awareness.
