Sacrament of Reconciliation for Primary 4

The sun was shining through the beautiful stain glass windows in St. Columbs Chapel today for the Primary 4 children as they made their First Confession. The children took part in the service with saying readings and prayers. Our great school choir accompanied us as Father Canny listened to the children’s confessions.🙏🏻

Thank you to Therese and Finbar at the Derry Diocesan Catechetical Centre for our online preparation lessons, Fr Canny with his special service, Mrs Mc Callion for taking pictures, Miss Bonella for music and helping with choir, Miss Quinn for all her help and guidance in P4, Mrs Barrett for supporting our class and our Chapel Road Choir. 🎶🎵

A special word of thanks to the P4 children and their parents for getting ready for this day. Well done for remembering your prayers and showing reverence in the Chapel.
