Primary 4 had a lot of fun celebrating all the Superhero activities as part of Superhero Day in support of Autism NI.
We learned the Makaton sign for 'superhero'🦸♂️mask and other signs too. We watched a Cbeebies cartoon called Pablo that helps with discussing Autism and seen how all children display different behaviors that we could all identify with in class. We made brilliant superhero masks and designed our superhero figures for our wall display. These superhero's also needed a passport, identifying their super powers and who they should avoid! One of the most fun activities however was the story massage. The children paired up with a friend to tell a story using their hands on their friends back. The lady on screen helped us. They all agreed they would like to do this again.
I am proud to say every child in Primary 4 are Superhero's and received their certificate to confirm this.
