17th May 2024

First Holy Communion Update

Dear Parent/Guardian,

The excitement is building for the big day tomorrow. The children have been busy familiarising themselves with the prayers and arrangements. The most important thing is that they will all have the best day and make long-lasting memories.

I wanted to send you the details so that you are up to date with the arrangements too. Please see below the information you will need:

  • Tomorrow Saturday 18th May 2024 @ 11.30am in the chapel.
  • All children must be seated by 11.20am at the latest.
  • Please ensure your child goes to the toilet before he/she leaves the house so that they do not have this to worry about when they arrive at the chapel.
  • When the children arrive, they will sit at the back of the Chapel before mass starts.
  • Front row seats will be reserved for the P4 children. The left side seats will be reserved for the choir.
  • If your child has a bag, prayer book, gloves, umbrella, beads etc, you will need to hold onto these until the end of mass.
  • When mass is over, Mrs. Mc Callion will organise a class group photo on the altar steps.
  • MARY’S DAY-Our annual Mary’s Day celebration will be on Monday 20th May at 9.30am in the assembly hall. Primary 4 children should come to school in their First Communion outfits on Monday (20th). Please send in uniform to change into afterwards.

Enjoy the last day of preparations and we will see you all tomorrow.

Kindest regards,

Mrs M. Bacheta
