#PreciousPlay campaign
Dear Parents and Guardians,
This upcoming month, we’re joining Inspire Play Therapy’s #PreciousPlay campaign to celebrate the power of play in children’s wellbeing and development.
In the month of December, there will be no formal homework for any of our pupils. Instead, we’re encouraging families to spend the evening enjoying some quality playtime together. We know that families already value play, and this evening is a chance to celebrate it.
Through play, children can explore, express themselves, and build happy memories with the adults who love them.
Here are a few ideas to get started:
• Play a board game or card game together
• Build with Lego, blocks, or recycled materials
• Cook or bake something simple
• Go for a walk, ride bikes or play outside
• Read a favourite story or make up your own together
• Put on some music and dance!
Whatever you choose, the goal is simply to enjoy time together, laugh, and connect without the rush of written homework and because play is so precious. 💜
Special thanks must go to Joanne, Avril and Cathy from the Inspire Play Therapy Team based in Bridgend for affording us the opportunity to participate in their #PreciousPlay campaign.
Warm regards,
Mrs C.Barrett
