Primary 6 welcomed Geraldine from the Red Cross to deliver First Aid training to our class.
We were given different scenarios in our groups and had to act out what to do in the event of an emergency. We then learned what to ACTUALLY do in the event of choking, broken limb, a seizure and experiencing burns. The children learned very valuable facts and advice in the event of these scenarios. They had opportunities to use the dummy called ‘Annie’ to practise compressions correctly.
