BACK TO SCHOOL 2025-DATE AND TIMES

Pupils return to school on Friday 29th August 2025.

Primary 1 children will attend from 9.00am until 11.30am. A morning snack will be provided.

Please refer back to the P1 booklet given out at the Induction meeting to see further settling in times.

Miss Blee and Miss Mc Devitt will be in touch with their parents in relation to start days and times. 

Primary 2-Primary 7 children will attend from 9.00am until 12 noon. There is no canteen service so the children will need a lunch when they get home. Please send a morning snack and bottle of water with your child.

The children can arrive in school from 8.30am on Friday 29th August 2025.

P1, P2 and P3 will go to their classrooms where an adult will supervise. P4-P7 will be supervised in the assembly hall until 9.00am.

P4-P7 BACK TO SCHOOL

Hello everyone,

I am delighted to let you know that the P4-P7 children will return to school on Monday the 22nd March 2021. We have just heard this on the news and have no official notice as yet. Should there be any further details I will forward these but I am hopeful that it will be a smooth return to school.

What does this mean for us at Chapel Road PS?

It means that we will return to our routines as previously in place before Christmas. You can view all previous Return to School information by using the search feature on the website should you need to refer back. I will keep you up to date as and when routines etc change.

The P1-P3 children returned to school last week and have enjoyed being back. The P4-P7 children will also return to the same routines they were accustomed to before the Christmas holidays. We will remind them of the daily routines once they arrive on the 22nd March. Staff will be available to assist and support where needed.

We are excited and we want the children to be excited too but we understand that it will be another big change for some children. Let us know if you are worried about how your child will settle back in so we can offer additional support. You can email the info account or contact us by telephone-028 71341419.

Morning/Home-time Routine

Supervision will be available from 8.30am in your child's classroom. Please remain in your car until the staff are available to meet and greet your child. Wear a mask or face covering unless medically exempt. Access to school is by appointment only. If the older children can walk to school from the Shepherd's Glen gate or the bottom of the avenue please do so as this will help with traffic congestion. The lollipop service will be in operation as before.

P1 & P2 will finish school at 2.00pm.

P3-P7 will finish school at 3.00pm.

School meals will resume as normal also.
