Once Upon a Time in P1

P1 have been exploring how differently Fairytale characters have followed and made trails in the different stories. We read Hansel and Gretel, Little Red Riding Hood as well as different versions of Goldilocks. We made our own trails using stones for the characters to follow. We also programmed the Bee Bots in ICT to follow the different paths to the Fairytale houses. We drew maps to show Goldilocks how to find her way back to the Three Bears’ House to say sorry. We labelled all the features we might see in Fairytale Land on the way such as Rapunzel’s Tower, a bridge, giant footprints and the Gingerbread Cottage. Look at the fantastic Fairytale houses created by Joseph, Fiadh, D’Arcy, Luca and Alfi-Mae! 🏠…🏰…🗼

P1 have also been busy working on their handwriting, making cards for Father’s Day, decorating photo frames and enjoying the sunshine outside. ☀️🚀📸
