New to Chapel Road P.S Brenda’s Bug Hotel 🪱🐌🪰🐛🐝🦋🐜

It was noted that on a number of occasions over break time some children enjoyed collecting sticks, leaves and grass to make what they described as a bug hotel. However, when the children would return to the playground the next day the ‘bug hotel’ would no longer be there having been blown away by the weather. 
Mrs Kyle was visiting her mum and noticed she had a lovely bug hotel in her garden. When Mrs Kyle asked her where did she buy this, her mum told that her she had made it at her gardening club and our school was very welcome to have it!

Hence Brenda’s Bug Hotel is now placed in the playground next to our wildflower garden area. It’s been placed right in time for the lovely bank holiday and we hope the new residents will enjoy their stay. The children will be able to observe all the little creatures. How many will you spy?
