Mental Health Awareness Week P4

Today in class we discussed Mental Health Awareness Week. We took part in three activities with Dr Ranj: 1. Mindful Looking 2. Mindful Listening 3. Mindful Breathing
We enjoyed taking time out to take part in these simple activities. We then talked about gratitude and why we are grateful. This was part of our worksheet ‘Bubbles of Gratitude’ that also help us to calm down and think positively. Our class thought of numerous reasons they have to be grateful for: friends, family, food, school, homes and healthy parents. I told the class I am grateful to teach at Chapel Road with such a special and thoughtful group of children 🥰
As the children worked on their bubble sheets the bubbles appeared in the classroom 🫧🫧🫧 
We will continue to work on our mental health each week.
