May is the Month of Mary

1st May 2020

Hope everyone is keeping well and staying safe. Hopefully the good weather will return very soon as wet play is no fun for anyone!!!

As we now enter a new month, Fr Sean has been thinking about all our whole school community and praying for us all. As today is the 1st of May he asked us to share the following Video. He talks about the importance of having a May Altar in our homes and spending time together as a family saying the Rosary and asking Our Lady, to watch over us during these very difficult times. Click on the link below to watch Fr Sean.

During the month of May it would be lovely if the children could make May Altars at home with pictures of Mary and make/paint/draw flowers to decorate their altar, and if we could all start each school day with a prayer, whether you say a decade of the Rosary or just a Hail Mary.

Thank You and God bless x
