Learning Fun in P1 ☀️🦋

P1 have had a busy few weeks! In Maths, we were learning the story of 4 and 5. We did a great job using the playdough and stones on the butterfly and ladybird templates to find all the different ways to make 4 or 5 and then write the sums. In Maths we were also learning about time. We had lots of fun finding out what we could do in 1 minute. We estimated then timed the different activities e.g. how many times could we write our name, draw a face, build towers of 10 cubes, how many star jumps in a minute. It was a busy Maths lesson! In handwriting we practised our caterpillar and ladder letters. We’ve also been getting into the summer spirit by enjoying our beach and ice cream shop Play Area. Some pirates also came to visit! And on Monday we enjoyed eating our lunch outside in the sunshine. 🐞🦋🐛☀️🏖️🌊🏴‍☠️
