Humpty Dumpty in P1 🍳πŸ₯šπŸͺΊ

18th Nov 2023
Humpty Dumpty paid a visit to P1 this week as part of our A Time to Rhyme topic. We played the beat on our musical instruments as we said the rhyme. We then made up alternative rhymes depending on where Humpty sat. Humpty Dumpty sat on the chair, Humpty Dumpty grew some hair! Humpty Dumpty sat on the mat, Humpty Dumpty put on his hat! Humpty then wrote us a letter asking us to paint his portrait. We used some of these ideas to create our wonderful paintings of Humpty. Some of us got very creative! We built walls for Humpty using Lego, blocks and bricks. We even played a game building a wall for Humpty in PE. We also explored what might happen to different eggs (real eggs, boiled eggs, rubber and plastic eggs) if they fell off the Lego wall. 🍳πŸ₯šπŸͺΊπŸ§±
