Hickory Dickory Dock…tick tock…🕰️🐭🎼🪇

As part of our Once Upon a Time topic we’ve been exploring Hickory Dickory Dock this week. We acted out the rhyme with props and instruments, keeping a steady beat. We then said the rhyme loudly then softly, fast and then slow. We made our own mice who got a plush of ink like poor Inky! We also made up alternative rhymes for different times on the clock and then for different animals who might go up the clock! 🐭🕰️🎼🪇

Primary 1 have also been working hard on our sounds and numbers. We’ve been ordering numbers to 5 and making sets to match to each number. We’ve also been learning about position using the bears. We were also very excited to take our Oxford Reading Tree books home this week. Well done boys and girls!
