BACK TO SCHOOL 2025-DATE AND TIMES

Pupils return to school on Friday 29th August 2025.

Primary 1 children will attend from 9.00am until 11.30am. A morning snack will be provided.

Please refer back to the P1 booklet given out at the Induction meeting to see further settling in times.

Miss Blee and Miss Mc Devitt will be in touch with their parents in relation to start days and times. 

Primary 2-Primary 7 children will attend from 9.00am until 12 noon. There is no canteen service so the children will need a lunch when they get home. Please send a morning snack and bottle of water with your child.

The children can arrive in school from 8.30am on Friday 29th August 2025.

P1, P2 and P3 will go to their classrooms where an adult will supervise. P4-P7 will be supervised in the assembly hall until 9.00am.

Dear school community,

We are looking forward to another busy week at school. The staff were so proud of everyone last week. You were so brave, so cheerful, so co-operative and worked very hard to keep everyone safe. You made us smile 😊 and reminded us just how lucky we are to be part of the Chapel Road family. The school was buzzing with excitement and happy children. We hope you enjoyed it too. We want to say a special thank you to our parents, guardians, childminders and other family members or friends who made arrangements to ensure a safe drop off to school and a prompt collection. Thank you to our children who walked to school and so many of you who did this for the first time. Your efforts to help us with the return to school is much appreciated. A special thank you goes to our amazing staff too. 🥰
We also welcomed our new P1 children and a number of new families. We hope you will settle in quickly and enjoy the family friendly ethos we have at CRPS. 💞

Over the next few weeks we will be reinforcing the new routines and securing timetables for these. We will also reintroduce routines such as homework so look out for details from the class teacher as each class will vary. Whilst, it is proving beneficial to communicate with the teacher by email, it is important to remember that staff are teaching between 9.00am and 3.00pm. For this reason, if you need to get a message to the teacher about appointments or early collection, you need to contact the office or email the info account. This is also the procedure to follow if your child is sick. Thank you all once again.
