First Holy Communion Day

23rd May 2023

A very big congratulations to our wonderful boys and girls in Primary 4 for making their First Holy Communion on Saturday. The children were simply brilliant. We had rehersed and worked so hard for this very special day it all worked out perfectly.

A very big thank you to our lovely Mrs White, Miss O'Connor and Miss Ryan who helped with all the preparations from cutting out stained glass windows to laminating flowers. Thank you to Mrs McCallion and her very valued help. Thank you to Mrs Bacheta, Miss Bonella and Mrs Ashford for coming to support us and capture the special moments.

The service was extra special with our own beautiful choir and a solo from our lovely Jasmine, thank-you. This was also Mr Morrissons last time to play at the Chapel with us, we cannot thank you enough!

Thank you to Father Canny for preparing us and making us feel at ease.

Thank you to George the sacristan who gave us hosts to practice with and was very accommodating.

To the lovely mums, dads and families who supported their children both in preparation but also on the day. I have no doubt you were brimming with pride!

Most importantly to the boys and girls, thank you! Have a look at this little video to rewatch your special day. I could not be any prouder.

Mrs Kyle :)
