Farrans Construction Workshops

11th Apr 2019

We would like to say a huge Thank You to Nicola from Farrans Construction. She visited Primary 3 and Primary 4 today to tell us all about working on building sites.

Nicola explained how all the workers keep safe when working on a building site. They have to wear protective clothing....hard hats, high vis waistcoats/jackets, gloves, ear defenders, safety goggles and face masks.

Nicola also told us  how dangerous building sites could be. She told us we should never be on a building site without all the protective clothing or an adult.

You should never enter a building site when it is closed and no one is there...it is dangerous!!!

Nicola asked us to tell people to “Play Safe, Stay Safe” and to NEVER enter a building site without an appropriate adult!!!!
