Fairytale Characters in P1 👑🧸🐻🐻🧙‍♀️

We’ve been exploring Fairytale characters in P1 as part of our Once Upon A Time topic. We sorted the characters then matched describing words to the different characters. We discovered Baby Bear painting a self-portrait and decided to paint our own pictures of the 3 bears and Goldilocks. P1 also did a great job in the ‘hot seat’ as the different characters. They pretended to be different characters and answered lots of brilliant questions from their classmates. 

We then got a letter from Jack (of Jack and the Beanstalk) saying all the naughty characters had escaped from Fairytale Land!!! A beanstalk and two witches hats were discovered in our room which meant they must be nearby! We made Wanted Posters to try and help catch them. We then put our posters up around the school. Mrs Kyle and P4 were very concerned, as were Mrs McCallion and Derek! They said they would keep an eye out for us!

We think our hard work paid off as today we got a letter from Jack to say that all the naughty characters had been caught! Thank goodness for that! Well done P1! 🐻🐻🧸👱‍♀️🧙‍♀️🏰🌲🌲
