Eco Week Fun in P1! 🌍🍓🥝🍊

3rd Feb 2024

P1 had lots of fun taking part in our school’s Eco Week activities this week. We focused on our target of healthy eating and learned all about why we should eat a balanced diet. We talked about all the healthy yummy foods we love to eat. We then designed a healthy lunchbox poster for display so that we can encourage all the boys and girls in our school to eat a healthy lunch. 🍴🥗🥪

It was great fun tasting all the different fruit and vegetables and designing our own fruit salad face! We talked about which ones we enjoyed trying for the first time and described them using words like ‘juicy’, ‘sweet’, ‘crunchy’, ‘sour’ and ‘tangy’. I was surprised how many children enjoyed eating the ‘sour’ lemon! 🍋🍊🍓🍇🥝🍍🥕
