Eco meetings with our Eco Schools Officer Gareth

Our Eco committee play an important role in our school. Just like our class councilors we have 2 representatives from each class for our Eco Committee. The children get together to discuss Eco issues in the school. On this occasion Gareth Lambrock who is our Eco Schools field officer came to present a workshop on waste and to highlight the importance of recycling. Gareth also invited us to join in a competition called  'The Wheelie Big Challenge' that our school will take part in to reduce the waste in school. Our Eco Committee were very official keeping notes, asking questions and took part in an Eco quiz. This workshop will soon be shared with the rest of the school through a whole school assembly, keeping everyone informed and up to date with our Eco goals.
