Congratulations to the children in Primary 4 for receiving their First Holy Communion on Friday. The children and their families enjoyed a beautiful celebration in St.Columbs Chapel. The children did a wonderful job saying readings, prayers of the faithful, taking up gifts, thank you prayers and saying what their First Communion means to them.
We were very proud of everyone for taking part in such a special occasion!
Thank you to Fr.Canny for making the service so special. Also thank you to George the sacristan for all his help and giving us the hosts to practice with.
Thank you to Mr Morrison for coming to play along with the wonderful choir. You were both great as always.
A special thanks to Mrs McAnneny and Miss O’Connor for all the help and preparation that went on to make the day run smoothly. We would be lost without you.
