P1 enjoyed a visit from Yang who told us all about Chinese New Year. She decorated our classroom in beautiful red and gold decorations and lanterns and told us how people celebrate with tasty food and fireworks. We learned that 2024 is the year of the dragon. Yang also gave each of us a special red envelope with a (chocolate) coin inside which is a Chinese tradition. Thankyou Yang! 🧧🐉🐲🎇🎆
