We have had a very busy week in Primary 6. We have been learning about 2D and 3D shape in Numeracy, finding out new shape names and using nets to build our own 3D shapes.
We were looking at the features found within a persuasive text, abbreviations and we were working on a special piece of writing for Grandparents day next week.
Our topic this term is Raiders of The Lost Tomb, based on learning about the Egyptians and associated times. We did fact finding and looked at the geographical location of Egypt and the surrounding countries.
We had great opportunities to practice our Gaelic skills, try out Irish dancing, relax during Yoga and to top it all off we had a visit from the Manchester United mascot!
