Primary 1 children will attend from 9.00am until 11.30am. A morning snack will be provided.
Please refer back to the P1 booklet given out at the Induction meeting to see further settling in times.
Miss Blee and Miss Mc Devitt will be in touch with their parents in relation to start days and times.
Primary 2-Primary 7 children will attend from 9.00am until 12 noon. There is no canteen service so the children will need a lunch when they get home. Please send a morning snack and bottle of water with your child.
The children can arrive in school from 8.30am on Friday 29th August 2025.
P1, P2 and P3 will go to their classrooms where an adult will supervise. P4-P7 will be supervised in the assembly hall until 9.00am.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar came to visit this week in P1. We say the days of the week every day in P1 as we do our calendar, and this helped us to sequence them. We also talked about what things we do on different days of the week e.g. Dance is on a Monday and Multi-Sports is on a Wednesday. We all love ICT on a Friday! We made sets of the different fruit the Hungry Caterpillar eats and we even bought some of the tasty treats he enjoys in our shop using 1p, 2p, 5p and 10p coins. We learned all about the life cycles of a frog and butterfly as well as doing some beautiful artwork. We explored symmetry through painting symmetrical butterflies. We read Tadpole’s Promise by Jeanne Willis, writing speech bubbles for each character to explore what they might say to each other when they meet again as a frog and a butterfly. Will they recognise each other?? You will have to read the book to find out! 🐛🦋🐸🍎🍊🍓🍉🍃
