A Fun Week in P1

28th Jan 2024

P1 have been very busy this week! In Maths we were learning all about the number 8. We learned about weight and sorted heavy and light objects. We then used the scales to compare the weight of two objects, saying which was heavier and which was lighter. We also did a great job sorting the bears in lots of different ways and explaining how we sorted them. βš–οΈπŸ§ΈπŸ»

We loved our first Ceile dancing lesson with Sharon as we get ready for our St Patrick’s Day Ceile. We also enjoyed a walk to our local chapel St Columb’s as part of Catholic Schools Week. πŸ€β›ͺ️

We have been busy serving some tasty treats to keep us warm in our Winter Cafe and so it was about time we had some real hot chocolate as a little treat for our brilliant assembly this week! We even had some cream, sprinkles and marshmallows on top! β˜•οΈπŸ§
