🌿 Primary 7 are Leading the Way for a Greener Tomorrow! 🌿
Our amazing P7 pupils have been working hard on exciting eco projects. We are thrilled to share that we have entered our creations into the NIRN Circular Schools Reuse and Repair Competition!
💡 Turning Trash into Treasure
Our project focused on the power of the circular economy. The pupils learned how important it is to reuse, repair and repurpose old materials instead of throwing them away. They let their imaginations run wild!
P7 turned everyday waste into incredible, inventive items, including:
- 👗 Upcycled dresses and fashion pieces
- 🏡 Robots
- 🏟️ Mini Gaelic pitches made from scrap materials
🏡 Bringing the Eco Message Home
This project is about more than just a school competition. Our big goal is to spark change beyond the classroom walls! We want to boost awareness about waste in our own homes and across the wider community.
Every small change helps our planet. By choosing to repair instead of replace, we can all save money and reduce waste.
P7 are leading by example, and now we want to challenge you!
🤝 How You Can Join In
We want to inspire our families and neighbours to think differently about what we throw away.
Here is how you can help at home today:
- Fix it first: Can that broken toy or torn item of clothing be repaired?
- Pass it on: Donate items you no longer need instead of binning them.
- Get creative: Try to repurpose old containers or boxes for storage or crafts.
Let’s work together as a community to make our neighbourhood a cleaner, greener place to live.
Well done, Primary 7, for showing us all how it is done! ♻️👏
